Return to Campus
When Safety is a High Priority

Preparing to bring students back to campus this fall has been a challenge to say the least. You’re dealing with the moving targets of government guidelines at the federal, state and local levels. There are regional differences in infection rates that you have to consider.

Almost everyone has some level of trepidation with opening campuses this fall. However, many institutions will be expected to provide some level of on-site, in-person services. How do those universities and colleges balance administrative directives with the welfare of students as well as staff members?

Though there is no one-size-fits-all solution to resolve the challenges in this COVID-19 environment, there is at least a set of common traits one may look for in any possible solution. And that set is almost identical to the capabilities Terra Dotta provides to over 700 institutions already:

  • A platform to communicate with students and faculty en masse
  • Publication and distribution of pre-arrival checklists and codes of conduct
  • Assessments to measure comprehension
  • Digital signature to affirm understanding and agreement
  • Smartphone application notifications for real-time updates to students
  • Two-way communication through the app for students and administrators

Terra Dotta is pleased to be collaborating with the Equity Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) at Yale School of Medicine and White and Williams LLP to provide these same features in a way to help institutions manage getting students back to campus in a world with COVID-19.
