THE VOICE OF THE STUDENTS
STUDY ABROAD 2025

We’re excited to share the findings from the 2025 Voice of the Student Survey—our fourth annual look at what today’s students really think about study abroad. Each year, this research gives us a clearer view into how perceptions, priorities, and expectations are evolving across higher education.

In this year’s results, one message rings especially clear: interest in global experiences remains strong, but expectations have changed. Students are calling for study abroad programs that are more accessible and aligned with their academic and personal goals. At the same time, concerns around affordability, safety, and credit transfer persist—reminding us of the work still to be done.

As institutions look ahead, we hope these insights spark new conversations and innovative strategies. Together—with input from students—we can reimagine global learning opportunities that meet this moment and reflect the diverse needs of a new generation.

Thank you for joining us in exploring the future of study abroad through the voices that matter most.

See for yourself.
