For years we’ve hired employees with backgrounds in international education, now our team of software experts also includes dedicated specialists who bring over 25 years of combined experience working in the trenches as DSOs and AROs. We believe that having experts on our development and support teams is the best way to produce the ultimate software for your ISSS office.

During their time in ISSS offices around the country, our team of experts have advised 29,732 international students, and that number continues to grow with each new hire we make to support our ISSS clients.

In the July 2015 edition of the Terra Dotta Newsletter, I provided an introduction and some questions to think about when considering the issue of whether a college or university should use agents to bring international students to their campus. Sakiba Dzelil began working for Terra Dotta in January of 2015 as a Terra Dotta Administrator. She acts as an extension of offices that have purchased the TD Administrator Service, updating process elements, opening and closing application cycles and much more. She also answers case questions about features and best practices.

Prior to working at Terra Dotta, Sakiba worked as a Graduate Assistant, Administrative Assistant, and as an Office of International Programs Coordinator at Western Kentucky University. She also served as a Service Representative at the Social Security Administration.

Sakiba received a BS in Sociology at the University of Tennessee at Martin, a Masters of Public Administration from Western Kentucky University, and is currently completing a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Kentucky University.

When not working for Terra Dotta, she enjoys traveling, nature walks, and watching HGTV and the Food channel. Sakiba says her favorite part of working at Terra Dotta is “the interaction that I have with clients. It feels like I am working in several different offices. Learning how clients have developed their own way of utilizing our software is very interesting."

Over the course of several months earlier this year, we worked hand in hand with ControlScan, a company that delivers security compliance solutions to help business owners secure sensitive data and reach PCI Compliance.

With the help of ControlScan, we achieved PCI DSS Level I Service Provider certification in February and are now more secure than ever, which means peace of mind for us and for you.
