Terra Dotta Responds to COVID-19
March 19, 2020
As our communities respond to the evolving impacts of COVID-19, Terra Dotta is committed to supporting the health and safety of our higher ed customers, partners and employees. Since the onset of the virus and its subsequent global spread, our team has been working day-by-day to diligently keep communication lines open and frequent with regard to the latest alerts, updates and regions affected.
Our clients (international education professionals at universities and colleges across the globe) have been managing this crisis for weeks and months, some relying on our solutions to locate, inform and communicate with their traveling students and faculty. As such, Terra Dotta has made available to all customers a complimentary version of our AlertTraveler® solution to ensure universal access to view emergency alerts across all regions where they have impacted students, faculty or staff.
We continue to track reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and all federal, state and local agencies to align with the most current recommendations from health authorities. After careful consideration, we made the decision in early March to cancel our annual user conference, TDU Global 2020 (TDU), to protect the health and well-being of our customers, partners and employees. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing our plans to deliver key content from the TDU 2020 online and possibly at in-person Boot Camps later this year.
Additionally, to ensure the ongoing health of our team and communities at large, Terra Dotta instituted a work-from-home policy effective March 13 for all employees in the Chapel Hill headquarters office and all other locations worldwide. We encourage everyone to take all possible precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as we focus on the health and wellness of our communities both domestically and globally.
On behalf of the Terra Dotta team, we are grateful for our incredible team of customers, partners and employees and appreciate your unwavering support. Our priority remains to be a proactive support to all of you during this time. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Best,
Anthony Rotoli, CEO
