Importing Legacy Data

When implementing a new data system, it is important for offices to keep historical data intact. Terra Dotta clients can import legacy data and contact information into Colloquia through a user-friendly data import tool.

Information Security

Colloquia delivers information through both public and private interfaces. Database security and FERPA/HIPAA considerations are a top priority for Terra Dotta. Colloquia is thoroughly tested internally by Terra Dotta engineers and externally by WhiteHat Securities.

System Requirements for installing Colloquia in your data center

The licensed version of Colloquia can be installed in the organization’s data center or hosted in Terra Dotta’s data center. If the software is to be installed by the organization, there are certain server and database requirements that must be met. For details please request the System Requirements documentation.

Hosting

Terra Dotta hosting services allow clients to avoid the time and cost of procuring and supporting the servers and database needed to run Colloquia. Terra Dotta servers are housed in a top-tier, SAS 70 Type II certified data center in Louisville, KY. Terra Dotta is responsible for performing all software installs and updates on hosted systems. This includes the server operating system, database software, ColdFusion, Terra Dotta software and all hot-fixes, patches and version upgrades.

Graphic Design

The graphical elements of Colloquia can be customized so that each Colloquia site can have a distinct look and feel. Colloquia clients can choose to use the standard Terra Dotta layout or create a custom layout to match their current design standards.

Implementation

Once Colloquia is purchased, an organization can start on the development of their website content and registration materials. New clients are given a Step-by-Step guide that will walk them through the steps of implementing the software. Terra Dotta offers tips for project management and content development services to help clients launch their new software as quickly as possible. Integrating with SIS, HR, and SCL

Organizations can integrate Colloquia with various information systems. Colloquia can be integrated with any Student Information System, Human Resources Directory, or Secure Campus Login System including LDAP, webservices, Banner, Peoplesoft, homegrown or any other systems.
